Ridiyagama Safari Park

A magnificent sight, the Ridiyagama Safari Park is divided into six zones. Because they are designed to fit different habitats it houses a wide range of animals in the zones. To see the different animals that inhabit the valleys and trees make sure to walk through each area when you are there.

Yala National Park

Once you arrive in Yala, enter the breathtaking safari park by boarding a jeep. There you can take in the exhilarating views of untamed creatures. The leopard stands out as the most notable animal in Yala National Park. Most visitors are able to get a glimpse of this animal because of its high concentration in the park.

Walawe River Safari

The Walawe National Park’s River Safari is a remarkable experience. This gives guests the opportunity to become captivated by the park’s bird and marine life. View as the bird species that live near the aquatic plains hunt for food in unique methods. As your boat moves through the underwater area fish will swim beneath it.

Birds Research Center & Resort

The Birds Research Center and Resort is a location of innovation and significance in research. 3200 native and exotic birds representing over 180 species call it home. This large area has a lot to offer to those who enjoy ornithology and bird watching.

Dry Zone Botanic Gardens

The first botanic garden to be constructed in the dry zone is this one. You can find various plants and flowers in this area which plans to conserve these vivid species. It was built with the goal of researching the effects of the dry zone on plants and showing consistent methods to grow and nurture plants in the dry zone.

Mahapelessa Hot Springs 

This quaint location which is surrounded by rolling paddy fields and lies between Sooriyawewa and Ridiyagama is also known as the Madunagala Hot Water Springs. The restorative properties of these hot springs will leave you feeling soft and light after a day of thrilling travel.
